From Bosnia to Albania: a repair delay and five punctures

After crossing Slovenia and Croatia, Jaydip continued through Bosnia and Herzegovina. The route recorded through Bosnia runs from the Banja Luka area through Jajce, Travnik, Sarajevo and Foča, then the Hum/Foča border corridor into Montenegro.

A trolley problem interrupted that progress. In the videos leading up to Day 173, Jaydip describes waiting for a replacement part and returning to his trolley. In the Day 173 account, he says he had been stopped for around 40 days before setting out from Orja Luka toward Tuzi.

The restart lasted only about a kilometre before the first puncture. In his description of the day, Jaydip reports changing the tube, repairing more punctures and changing the tyre in intense heat. People he met offered water, fruit and help. He reports reaching Tuzi after 34 km, with five punctures during the day.

The next recording, Day 174, describes around eight punctures over two days and more help repairing the trolley before the Albanian border. Day 175 follows Bajzë to Shkodër, his first full walking day in Albania.

In Shkodër, the Day 176 recording takes a different turn: Jaydip describes spending India’s Independence Day with new friends and cooking Indian food for 20 people.
