TRT World brings Jaydip's walk into a wider climate story

TRT World placed Jaydip Lakhankiya's walk inside a broader environment story: dangerous heat, changing summer travel, outdoor life, tourism choices, and the small decisions people make when the climate is no longer a distant subject.

Jaydip's segment begins with the simple frame that has carried the whole mission: one man trying to complete a 12,000 km journey from Malta to India. In the programme, he is shown near the Italian-Slovenian border during the European leg, speaking about the road from the middle of the journey rather than from a studio.

The strongest part of the interview is not a polished slogan. Jaydip explains that his earlier 182-day journey across India was not originally a climate campaign.
