Experience and Achievements

These are the experiences that prepared Jaydip for long walking days, route risk, public talks, group safety, and field logistics before the Malta-to-India route began.

Credibility

The field background behind the mission

Each item below connects to something the route demands: endurance, navigation, public speaking, group leadership, safety judgment, or climate communication.

Education

Hospitality, travel, and tourism study in Malta

2024-2025

Further study in Malta pushed Jaydip deeper into sustainable tourism and climate questions and helped turn concern into a public mission.

Field experience

182-day India walking and hitchhiking journey

2021

During the pandemic years, Jaydip crossed India by walking and hitchhiking for 182 days with almost no money, learning directly from villages, people, and the land.

Outdoor leadership

Certified trekking instructor with Invincible NGO

Jaydip worked as a trekking instructor and senior volunteer, guiding groups and building real field discipline in endurance, navigation, and outdoor leadership.

Outdoor leadership

Certified kayaking instructor

2022

In 2022 he qualified as a kayaking instructor through the National Institute of Watersports, adding water safety and teaching experience to his outdoor background.

Training

Power paragliding training

2023

In 2023 he completed basic and advanced power paragliding courses through NIMAS, adding further training in risk judgment, discipline, and self-reliance.

Public engagement

Guest and volunteer at an international youth festival in Greece

2025

In 2025 he joined a youth festival in Greece as a guest and volunteer, using travel experience to speak with students and young people in Europe.

Cleanup

Malta localities walk and cleanup tribute before departure

2026

Before leaving Malta, Jaydip walked through all 54 localities over five days, visited a church in each, and organised cleanups as a public thank-you to the island that launched the route.

Back the work behind the route.

Support turns experience into something useful on the road: safer walking, better documentation, more school visits, and cleaner public stops.
